Lesson Summary: In this lesson, students will watch a PowToon video about their tasks for that day's lesson. The teacher will then do a read aloud of the story, Tacky the Penguin. The class will briefly discuss the story, and then watch a YouTube video about how to write a plot summary. The students will each write their own plot summary and then create a Fakebook account with a partner for one of the characters in the story. The teacher will use the rubric created on Rubistar to evaluate the students' completed work.
